Applications & career chat

Keep every application with its stages, assets and people on one board — and plan your job search with the AI career chat.

Today's applications are won by proof and connections: showing what you have already done, and reaching the people who decide. The applications board and the career chat help you do both, in one place.

The applications board#

Open Applications in the menu.

  • Your goals and proof — what you're aiming for, what you've done that proves it, and your proof links (GitHub, portfolio, LinkedIn).
  • Columns — Interested, Applied, Interviewing, Offer, Closed. Each card shows the current stage, the next step and its date (red when it's overdue).
  • Next steps — the dated next steps of all open applications, soonest first.

Each application has:

  • Details and your pitch — 2–4 sentences: the problem you solve for this company, and your proof. The same story should run through your video, page and presentation.
  • The process — the stages as you know them (HR screening, hiring manager, team, panel, presentation, final …) with dates and what each needs.
  • What you use for it — which page, presentation, video and video link.
  • People — the recruiter, the hiring manager, the team, and who can introduce you. Set introduced by and the board shows the path: You → Tom → Lisa (hiring manager).

About me and your documents#

About me (in the menu) is the one place with your facts — basics, experience, education, skills, projects & proof, goals and notes for the AI. Every chat works from it: the page and presentation assistants, the career chat and video feedback. So you add your CV once, not in every chat.

  • Fill from my documents drafts it from your CV, LinkedIn profile and other documents. You see the changes (green new, red gone) and accept or discard them. Facts only come from your documents; gaps are marked "(add: …)".
  • The career chat keeps it current: tell it about a new result or a goal and it adds it, saying what it changed.
  • Earlier versions keep the last 10 — one click restores any of them.

Documents: your CV, your LinkedIn profile as PDF, LinkedIn's data export (Settings → Data privacy → Get a copy of your data) or screenshots of a profile or job posting. They're kept as text. From the LinkedIn export only your own profile files are read — your connections and messages are ignored. Screenshots are read by AI for a tiny amount of credits.

Contacts#

People you add yourself or tell the career chat about: name, company, role, how you know them, a public LinkedIn address and notes. Only you see them. Add only what your job search needs.

The career chat#

Start it from the board (✦ Career chat), from an application (Ask the career chat) or under AI assistant → New career chat. It can read your profile, documents, applications, contacts, pages, presentations and video transcripts — only yours — and keeps the board up to date while you talk:

  • tells you what proof you're missing for the role you want, and how to create it,
  • writes your pitch per application and makes your video, page and presentation tell the same story,
  • maps who you know → who they know → the hiring manager, with a short message draft for each step,
  • writes the interview process into the stages and prepares you stage by stage,
  • searches the web for openings and for the companies you apply to (public information only), and reads a job posting you link to (not LinkedIn — paste the text or add a screenshot instead),
  • changes your pages and presentations so they tell the story for an application — only with your approval: you see a one-line summary and See the changes (the exact lines added and removed), and nothing changes until you click Approve. It's saved as a draft; publishing is a second approval,
  • leaves notes for your next take on a video — what to open with, what to show, what to cut. They appear on the video and, with Record with these notes, in the studio's scrolling notes.

Find openings on the board starts the career chat on a search: give a role, a place and anything else that matters.

It never contacts anyone for you. It's paid from your credits like the AI assistant.
